Inclusive curation – Art By Johnny
Jo and collaborator Jane Fox worked together to realise two recent ACE funded exhibitions with Phoenix Art Space, Brighton, UK: Towards Inclusion and Art By Johnny: Exploring Inclusive Curation. Both exhibitions were designed to celebrate the diverse skills of learning disabled and neurodivergent artists whilst gently challenging public assumptions and shifting the dial for arts organisations seeking opportunities to review their inclusion and access programmes and policies.

With experience across commercial, voluntary and public sectors, Jo has a solid understanding of the skills and considerations that individuals and organisations face in navigating for sustainable success. She set up the Community Interest Company Rocket Artists’ Studios in 2016 and as co-founder and managing director of the social enterprise she has worked in all aspects of the business
